Magnificent Baby® Opens Brand New Showroom

Magnificent Baby now located in the heart of Manhattan’s Garment District

Magnificent Baby announced its move today to a showroom at 152 West 36^th Street in New York City’s Garment District. The new space will be open to buyers, press and all visitors to review Magnificent Baby’s latest collections, styles and innovations.

“We are extremely excited to open a new showroom and office space right in the heart of New York City. The space is in a newly renovated building and centrally located. We’re glad to have made it more convenient for buyers with tight schedules to visit Magnificent Baby,” states Magnificent Baby’s President, Lauren Levy. “We look forward to having lots of visitors and will keep everyone posted on our upcoming housewarming/Spring '12 preview party!”

The announcement is another highlight in a banner year for Magnificent Baby. The company continues to grow rapidly and with appearances on The View, the Today Show and was named among Babble.com’s 25 Brands to Know and Love.

Lights of Love Campaign Issues Grant for Purchase

Holland Hospital’s "Lights of Love" campaign has issued a grant allowing the Holland, Michigan hospital to equip its Special Care Nursery with Magnificent Baby’s SmartClose Magnetic-Fastening gowns. In the intensive care nursery, "skin-to-skin" contact between parent and child is strongly encouraged. Holland Hospital recognized Magnificent Baby’s gowns’ potential to greatly aide this process. Magnificent Baby’s magnetic fasteners allows parents to open and close the gowns more quickly and easily than gowns featuring snaps, buttons or other traditional closures. Their innovation vastly increases the potential for skin-to-skin contact between mom and baby.

"One of our parents who was recently in the special care unit had a product of yours, a gown with magnets. It was extremely helpful in helping to transition the newborn from its hospital bed to the parents because the parents were able to easily open and close the gown for the skin to skin contact that is so critical for bonding. As soon as we saw the benefits of Magnificent Baby’s SmartClose magnetic fasteners we requested funds from the Lights of Love campaign at our hospital," said Kim Klenk, Holland Hospital Nurse Educator.

Magnificent Baby Wins Prestigious Huggies MomInspired Grant!

MAGNIFICENT BABY^® AWARDED TOP HONORS AS A HUGGIES^® MOM INSPIRED^TM 2011 GRANT WINNER

Company Awarded Grant for its Innovative Product Line Aimed at Helping Parents and Babies.

April 23, 2012, New York, NY - Magnificent Baby received the prestigious Huggies MomInspired Grant. Magnificent Baby, along with eight other recipients, was chosen for having a unique idea that helps make life easier for parents so that they can better enjoy everyday moments with their little ones. Selected from more than 500 applicants, most notably, Magnificent Baby was the only apparel company chosen in the history of the grant program.

Cool Mom Picks!

AWESOME! Great post from Cool Mom Picks!

Clothes that are easy to get baby in and out of--and now easy on the eyes, too.

I'm all about finding ways to make life easier, especially when there's a newborn at home. To that end, we raved about the clever designs from Magnificent Baby when it first launched. The magnetic closure baby clothes make getting baby dressed a zillion times easier than snaps or buttons.

And now they've teamed up with one of our favorite mom websites (no, not us!) for a brand new design that's just too cute.

Magnificent Baby and A-List Mom founder Elina Furman put their minds together and designed the adorable Elephants on Parade fall collection. It's the same thoughtful sleepwear designs we liked earlier this year, but with an adorable blue or purple elephant motif. The collection includes classic stripes and some simple blue and purple options, too. And I love how soft the PJs are, thanks to the luxurious Peruvian cotton.

It's hard to go back to regular old snaps and buttons after the ease of magnetic closures. And yes, they stay closed, and no they're not dangerous. In fact, I'm hoping Magnificent Baby's next collection includes some tops for me to wear, too. It's amazing what sleep deprivation does to your fine motor skills. -Melissa
